After a year-long hiatus due to COVID-19, Nicolas again joined with cellist Hannah Holman to continue work on her “Influential Female Cellists” video series. Episode 9, released on March 11, 2021, presents a brief look at the life of Guilhermina Suggia.

Riverfront Pops is one of the biggest annual musical events in the Quad City area. Nicolas was hired to document the 2020 Riverfront Pops concert featuring the music of Fleetwood Mac. This performance took place during the COVID-19 pandemic and it was important to document the precautions taken by the QCSO musicians, staff, and audience. See more images from this photo shoot.

In the summer of 2019, Jon Hodkin of InnerTuba visited the Midwest from the United Kingdom. Jon is a tuba player who pulls his instrument in a trailer behind his recumbent tricycle, stopping to give pop-up concerts along his way. While in the US, he made a stop in the Quad Cities where he performed for various local organizations. Light Captured Images shot videos and photos of these events and mixed them with existing materials from the rest of Jon's travels to produce this film which is being used as promotional material while InnerTuba works to schedule a second US tour.
The InnerTuba video produced by Light Captured Images was used to promote Jon Hodkin’s travels and garner support for future tours. In this screenshot, the video has been used in a Facebook post and pinned to the top of InnerTuba’s Facebook page.

The eighth episode in Hannah Holman’s Influential Female Cellists series. Produced, filmed, and edited by Light Captured Images, this particular video was shot in the lobby of Hotel Blackhawk, Davenport, Iowa as Hannah tells the story of the well-traveled cellist May Mukle.

Commissioned by the Quad City Symphony Orchestra, David Dzubay's Autumn Rivulets, for soprano and orchestra, was composed in celebration of Walt Whitman’s 200th birthday in 2019. In this video produced for the QCSO, Augustana College poet/professor Rebecca Wee reads Whitman's text featured in Dzubay’s work which was performed for the first time at Masterworks I: Statement on October 5 & 6, 2019.

Mark Russell Smith, Quad City Symphony Orchestra conductor, and some patrons visited Spillville, Iowa where Antonin Dvořák spent a summer composing. This video was produced as a lead up to the QCSO performance of Dvořák’s 7th Symphony and highlights the Spillville trip and gives some background on Dvořák’s time in Iowa.
